Safe use requirements for shackles

Shackle is a connection between different objects, which can be used for the connection between the sling and the sling or the sling bolt; for the connection between the sling and the sling; as the lifting point of the combined sling. The safety requirements for shackles are as follows:
1. The operator can only use the shackle after being trained.
2. Before operation, check whether all shackle models match and whether the connection is firm and reliable.
3. It is forbidden to use bolts or metal rods instead of pins.
4. No large impact and collision are allowed during the lifting process.
5. The pin bearing should rotate flexibly in the lifting hole, and no jamming is allowed.
6. The shackle body cannot bear the lateral bending moment, that is, the bearing capacity should be within the body plane.
7. When there are different angles of bearing capacity in the plane of the body, the working load of the shackle is also adjusted.
8. The angle between the two-leg rigging carried by the shackle shall not be greater than 120°.
9. The shackle should correctly support the load, that is, the force should be along the axis of the center line of the shackle. Avoid bending, unstable loads, and not overloading.
10. Avoid the eccentric load of the shackle.
11. Reasonable regular inspections should be determined according to the frequency of use and the severity of the working conditions. The periodic inspection period should not be less than half a year, and the length should not exceed one year, and inspection records should be made.
12. When the shackle is used together with the wire rope rigging as a binding rigging, the horizontal pin part of the shackle should be connected with the eyelet of the wire rope rigging, so as to avoid friction between the wire rope and the shackle when the rigging is lifted, causing horizontal The pin rotates, causing the horizontal pin to disengage from the buckle body.
Correct use of shackles is necessary to ensure safety.
